Recently, the United Kingdom, through its prime minister, Boris Johnson, announced that it will ease restrictions for Brazilian tourists. The new rules may be announced this week and, in addition to Brazil, the list of countries with greater restrictions on travelers will be changed.
According to the Aeroflap website, which is specialized in aviation matters, it is expected that passengers from Brazil, South Africa, Mexico and Indonesia will no longer need to comply with the mandatory quarantine to enter British territory. As stated by The Sunday Telegraph, the new measures will take effect from the end of October.
Other changes in the travel protocol that will take effect in the country are: Passengers entering the UK from countries not on the highly hazardous list will no longer need to undergo COVID-19 tests, as long as they already have the full vaccination schedule. Parliament will also authorize passengers to take another test of COVID-19 to enter territory other than the already used RT-PCR.
Also as announced by Aeroflap, the British Government should announce, next Thursday (7th), all the new rules and restrictions for travelers.
The Estação Mobilidade takes this cue to recommend: regardless of the destination or airline of your trip, the procedures and tests against COVID required by them, and whether you travel or not, TAKE THE TEST, USE MASK AND ALCOHOL IN GEL, and IMMUNIZE YOURSELF! Only then we can really fight the pandemic, and get back to doing, safely, things we miss: shake hands, hug, hang out... so, if you want to get back to this life safely, PROTECT YOURSELF and GET YOURSELF VACCINATED!!
