As of today, Air France announces that it will resume its service between Paris and the city of Fortaleza, capital of the state of Ceará. The company even stated that the aircraft model chosen for the resumption of flights is the same that had already been operating on the route since October 30th of last year: the Boeing 787 “Dreamliner”.
The plane, one of the company's newest and most modern, is a widebody (aircraft with a wide fuselage and two passenger aisles) capable of accommodating 279 passengers in three classes: Business, Premium Economy and Economy. The company already operates it on other routes around the world, including the one that connects RIOGaleão to Charles de Gaulle International Airport, in Paris.
“When we chose the Boeing 787 Dreamliner to restart our operations in Fortaleza, we thought, in addition to the passenger transport capacity, about elements such as customer comfort and sustainability, both at the center of our attention. In this resumption, we are even more focused on ensuring a complete experience for those who travel with us, with all the safety and responsibility that the moment demands”, says Manuel Flahault, general director of Air France-KLM in South America.
According to the article published on the Aeroin website that based this one you are reading, on board the aircraft, the service has windows 30% larger than in older models, in addition to being more spacious. The model also has better pressurization system and humidity levels, parameters that guarantee an even smoother flight. The Frenchwoman's 787 also has WiFi on board, available to its passengers throughout the flight. It also provides operational and environmental benefits, as it consumes less fuel compared to previous generations of aircraft, and emits 20% less CO2 and noise.
Also according to the Aeroin article, flights connecting the capital of Ceará to the main French city will take place on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The plane will land in Fortaleza at 5:30 pm, and will take off towards Paris at 7:35 pm.
Air France highlights that, due to the current health context of COVID-19, it constantly reviews its operations around the world, adapting to travel restrictions and customer demand. Therefore, your air network is constantly subject to change.
